A look around Chelsea Market


Chelsea Market (75 9th Ave) is a cool kind of market, though it wasn't so much the stores inside it that I wanted to see.  The place is cool because you can get a real feel for the old warehousing and workplaces that existed here in the past as part of the Meatpacking district.


I loved the exposed brick and huge industrial pipes on view...



You can watch your daily bread being baked...


....and a couple of murals...
