Snowy Castle Gardens

Snowy Castle Gardens, Lisburn, last Saturday before the snow melted. The clock tower in the background is part of Lisburn Linen Museum.

In the lower garden the fountain is only working in summer so the pool is snow
filled.  Many of us were 'dunked' in the water as schoolkids when it was our birthday!

  2. Such pretty shots of the snow cover. It does look like mid-winter and not the first of spring.

  7. Gorgeous in the snow... Bet it was sad, when it melted.

It will be "green-gorgeous" in not too long, of course.

Ahhhhh, a little pool. Glad youngsters didn't get "birthday-dunked" in a big pool!!! :-))))

  9. Such a beautiful place. And your photos seem timeless. These could be straight out of a Charles dickens novel. They would also make beautiful Christmas cards.

  14. ...beautifully kissed by winter. I'm enjoying the warmth of the sun, but I am also hoping to see a bit snow upon my turn. These sights would be delightful in each of the seasons. Thanks Christine for sharing, enjoy your week and please stop back again.
