Morning has Broken

After leaving the younger two teens to school, I decided to go cross country instead of the quicker main route and I'm so thankful I did.  Over the hills the sun was pouring out a golden glow from behind the hills and the mountains in the distance.  What a great way to welcome in the day!

Hope you have a great day!

  1. I love taking the long/slow road home some days and just waiting to see what can be discovered. What a lovely way to begin the day! It's still dark here, with the "promise" of 2 inches of snow. Kids are hoping for just one more school delay!

  5. Oh my GOSH, so stunning! The sun is sending rays onto the mountains.I can imagine God and Moses up there. Plus, the dark clouds above, then the sun underneath are such beautiful opposing colors.
