Corner Cottage

A beautifully restored cottage on the outskirts of Belfast, is neatly kept and one of my favourites.

It is owned by an architect who has added a large open plan living space to the rear of the cottage which I couldn't photograph from the road but what is quirky about this old part are the three doors, one at either end and a central door - perhaps it was originally split up into separate homes.

  3. ...wow, what a cutie! I love the gothic trim details on the gable ends. This would be a place that I would love to call home. Thanks Christine for sharing, enjoy your week and please stop back again.

  6. The date and style is suggestive of almshouses built for the elderly poor of the locality, they were mostly paid for by local landowners.

  17. Too bad the architect wouldn't have an open house one day when you get the info and see the addition!
