St Anne's Cathedral

St Anne's Cathedral Belfast.  It's architect was Sir Thomas Drew and was completed in 1904.

Only a small part of the building can be viewed internally unless you take a fee paying tour.

Below is the public entrance on the left side.

The public can use a small prayer room at any time.

The gold mosaic ceiling is well worth noting.

  8. Wow! The ceiling is gorgeous! Have you taken the tour? Do they have services on Sundays and an active membership? The wrought iron door is intricate and beautiful, and even the pavement has a beautiful design.

  17. Looks lovely. Many Churches are closed in Australia when not in use - such a pity. The larger ones are open, well most are.
