Now for Something Sweet!

Back to the archives for something sweet today!  When we visited New Hampshire last October we stopped in Littleton  and discovered Chutter's Candy Store.  As you can see, their claim to fame is that they have the world's longest candy counter!  It is 112 feet long!

Just look at all those sweets!  We did make a selection of some very delicious chocolate!

This was a warehouse across the river from where we parked the car.

  1. That is quite a selection of candy! I loved to visit the Sears candy counter when I was a child.

  2. It looks like some of those candies have interesting names. I like the eyeball gumballs and the cry baby gumballs. I like the name, that is. I'll pass on the actual gumball. However your selection of chocolate sounds perfect.

  8. I am old enough to remember the old penny candy stores. You could fill a bag with assorted ones. And now they sell by the jar, or maybe not? I would go nuts in the store. I bet it took a long time to decide on your purchase.
