Mersey Street Bridge

Found in East Belfast, I rather liked this sign and scene on the Mersey Street Bridge, over Connswater.
In the background you can see the traditional red bricked terrace housing built for workers in the early twentieth century. Nowadays the area has had quite a bit of regeneration which is good to see.

  3. It's such a pretty sign and it tells a story too! The boats go under, the bicycles cross on top and birds and butterflies soar way above.

  6. This is a wonderful picture! And the name makes me think of the Mersey River. Is this bridge over that river?

  7. Tut, tut! the cyclist isn't wearing a helmet, what will health & safety say? Very colourful and appealing though.
