Treasures in the Snow

We had our first snow on Friday and that afternoon I was able to get to Hillsborough and take a few shots of these Treasures in the snow.

Above is the gateway to Hillsborough Fort

As you walk around the path in front of the Fort, you see the spire of St Malachy's Parish Church.

We then left through the gateway again and followed another path to the church.

As the evening was drawing on the light became more purplish and made for a lovely snowy treasure.

  14. Just beautiful. I love the architecture of the church - and that wrought iron gate with the snow on it in the first photo is the perfect frame for the treasure it reveals.

  15. Pretty shots- I love how the skies turn such a pretty color when it snows. Doesn't happen here often, but in my youth we lived in Canada and North Dakota and it really snowed a lot there. I miss it sometimes.

  19. So pretty.... although after breaking my wrist in a fall on the ice last winter, I'm not much of a fan of winter precipitation! But it is lovely to look at.
