In Boston Common Gardens

As we were flying out of Boston, we had a few hours to spare and wandered around on a rather dull day in Boston Common. I couldn't believe how many squirrels there were, nor how bold they were!

I took the photo of this one with my phone.

Had to see the duck parade by Nancy Schon - very popular with children and really well polished by little hands.

These were the only shots I could get as there was a cute family there too and the little girl had so much fun riding on them and pretending to feed them!

Happy Saturday!

  1. The squirrels around my home have really tamed out, I feed them a lot. Like the ducks they all have left us around here

  15. Your first picture really made me laugh! He is peeking up at us. We have many squirrels here. When you are driving, they run across the road in a zigzag pattern. So it is hard not to hit them. I love this Duck Parade. How cute and whimsical. I imagine the children who see it will never forget it, and would have a lifelong love of ducks.

  16. The duck parade is wonderful. I can imagine what a hit they are with the children. When he was a toddler my son used to love all the lawn ornament animals our neighbor had in her yard.

  20. You were in my neck of the woods! I love the make way for ducklings - now and then, I'll walk over at lunchtime to see if they've been dressed up for a holiday or sports playoff.
