The Oculus NYC


This is the Oculus, the $4 billion new building at the World Trade Center and Ground Zero.

It's only when you go inside though, that you really understand the scale of this building.

I felt as if I were in a huge rib cage...


When we visited in July, there was a great exhibition of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel artwork.

  16. i have been to ground zero but i guess i have not been since they built this. this is unique, but looks a bit like a plane to me, maybe to others. i am not sure i like the design!! or the price tag, 4 billion!!!

    but i'm glad you showed us, i live so close and need to take a trip. to see all the things you have seen and shared from nyc!!!

  17. Hello Christine!:) I have just been admiring the murals and Chic art on your previous posts, and greatly enjoyed the colourful artwork. I think I prefer the interior of this new building, rather than the exterior architecture.
