Around Market Square

In Lisburn's centre known as Market Square, you will find the Linen Museum, housed in half old, half new building.

On either side of the building there are memorials to those who served in times of conflict at home and abroad.

Below is the view towards the new front of the museum.

New water features have been installed with fountains and in the warmer summer days the children enjoyed running through them.

And lastly another reflection of the clock tower in a babershop's window!

Thanks for all your comments.

  8. It looks like they were careful to mesh the new portion of the museum in with the old.

  10. Wow, I love this post! Especially the clock tower. It looks older than the rest of the building, so maybe it is the original tower? The reflection of it in the window is so cool! The shot with the flowers in front is so pretty. And that fountain, those sculptures around it are huge and impressive. I like their reflection in the water, too.

But I admire the old side for its architecture. Well captured
