The High Line NYC

We started our vacation in NYC and wanted to see different parts of the city from the High Line.  Interesting to find unusual art installations along the way as well as the views.

It was a blisteringly hot bright day...

Here's a condensed few snapshots along the way...

Above is a huge mural called 'The Floaters" by Henry Taylor at 22nd Street.

Below another mural I spotted some way away through the old brick buildings, but no details available.

The Meat Packing district...

One of most unusual sculptures along the way...

This was a new art piece being installed...

Another mural I spotted across the buildings...

We left the High Line at Chelsea Market...more tomorrow...

Thanks for your visit!

  18. I got a glimpse of the High Line at night. It is not the same. I spent some time in New York and didn't have enough time to see this area properly. Will have to check it out next time.
