Pause to Reflect...

One World Trade Center rises above Ground Zero as a fitting new skyscraper in the Manhattan skyline

The huge waterfall and reflecting pools were very moving to see, with all the names of those who perished on 9/11 inscribed around the rim...

The 9/11 museum reflects the new buildings...and the Stars and Stripes...

  4. Beautiful shots. My husband went with his softball team and he said it was moving for both he and all the girls; the girls were all born the year 9/11 occurred.

  5. Wow, just wow! I will never be able to see this in person, but I would stand in awe and despair at the same time if I did. So sad that this ever happened in our great nation, but so proud of the memorial.

  11. I know it has to be very very moving to be there. I haven't been able to go back to NY since well before the attack. Such a sad time for us, and one I hope no one forgets!
