Field of Wishes...

I have taken hundreds of photos this past week of dandelions and appreciated once again their stunning gossamer beauty and design.  I am so thankful for fields of unspoilt natural beauty on my doorstep!

Did you pick dandelion clocks and blow on them and make wishes as a child! We did!

These were taken just after midday but we returned in the evening and were thankful for a gorgeous sunset and soft light for more photos!

The soft evening light illuminates these gossamer hairs.

Halo effect

Cow parsley lines the lane arched by the trees.

And so ends another day of wishes come true... I am blessed.

  1. These photos are just stunning. I've never taken a picture of dandelions, it just never entered my mind but your take on such beauty makes me think again about dandelions, picture taking and just being aware of what's around us.

  8. A field of weeds more like, they get in your lawn and you have a right job getting rid of them, much as kids like blowing them gardeners hate them

  9. O' yes, very familiar with these little plants. That was one our fun things to do back in early days. I still will blow them if I find one. Your header is simply gorgeous,

  13. Hello Christine!:) You have brought back happy memories of my childhood with your captures, when I used to pick and blow on the flower heads, and watch the seeds float up in the air whilst I made a wish. All your long, and near shots are truly beautiful.:)
