Spring Gardens Mural

Just along the road from C.S.Lewis Square on the Newtownards Road, East Belfast, another Community Garden has been opened and was gearing up for spring when we visited the area.

The gable wall of an adjacent premises has been used to advertise the concept of freedom in the city and a slice of rurality in an urban setting.

  14. I love murals. I was so happy to see a community garden on Hastings Street in Vancouver, BC. It is a very urban area and offers the possibility for people to grow some of their own food. - Margy

  18. On good grief - how did I miss this post? I love this mural (and murals in general)! The colors are fantastic and I love the touch of rural in an urban area. I've been seeing more murals in the area where I work and have such a hard time getting a good photo. Nicely done!
