Saturday's Critters

Along the road from home I pass this dairy farm.  The 'ladies in waiting' are in a holding pen at the side of the road and I stop for a chat now and again!
Mostly they are black and white Fresian cows but this one has only black tipped ears!

Happy weekend!

  2. The cows often seem so laid back. I know this can be turned around when trying to move them. Getting the last of new calves all around me.

    1. So that's what this look on her face means!! Either that or she finds my chat boring!

  14. That is a lovely photo, Christine! I love cows, and probably because I grew up and still live in Wisconsin, America's Dairyland. :-)

  17. I love bovine faces. She looks like she has just caught her nose and ears in some wet paint.

  19. Hello Christine!:) They have so few distractions apart from eating that they usually do stare at you, and I expect welcome a friendly voice, and, the company. Your photo is charming, and so is she, with her unusual nose and ear markings.
