Monday Murals

Last week, we happened to be travelling through East Belfast, when I remembered reading about the newly completed regeneration of the area, famous for its working class links with ship builders Harland and Wolff, Titanic builders.

We stopped for a walk around the area and noticed these murals depicting the industrial past.
This is part of the ship building crane Samson in the ship yard.

On another gable , this mural depicts the welders at work.

The mighty chains that were forged - our 'links' with history.

Hope you enjoyed these and a little info on Belfast's illustrious shipbuilding past.
