Inside Stormont

Let's go through the necessary security checks and head on up to the main entrance and take a look inside the Main Hall of Stormont.

Under the columns the plaster work above is classical and beautiful.

On entering the building the eye is immediately drawn to the staircase and then to the glorious ceiling.

The design of the ceiling mirrors the pattern of the marble floor.

I love the colours and grandeur of this!

This is the 24 carat gold  main chandelier

Even the details of the staircase were impressive.

Hope you enjoyed this visit inside!
