  3. oh dear, it does happen!! we live on a river and those with boats must watch the tides to come and go. you images are beautiful, the first is so pretty and you captured a great reflection in the third!!!

  7. These are such great shots. You reminded me of the time I visited Portmeirion in Wales. In the short time I was there I saw this little boat sitting on a sand bar and then floating in the water and then sitting on a sand bar again. For someone who lives in a desert, it was interesting to watch.

  11. Low tide is not good for boats, but it brings all sorts of creatures to view sometimes. Love your reflections. That larger boat looks abandon. Is it?

    1. Yes you are quite right. The large boat- an old fishing boat, I think - has been abandoned there for some years. When the tide comes in only the topmost part of the roof is visible.
