Window Shopping in the Village

Our nearest village is so pretty anytime of the year, but at Christmas it's fun to see the brightly lit shops gear up for the festive season.  Here are a few snaps of some pretty windows.

This is the Flower and Gift shop for all your floral requirements.

Beside it is the butcher's with turkey and ham...

The baker's with sweet treats and Christmas Cakes, plum puddings and mince pies...

The Post Office and gift shop

A good old fashioned toy shop

Hope you enjoyed a glimpse into village life.

  5. You're lucky to have shops in the village, so many have disappeared. I think I've completed all my Christmas shopping....I hope!

  6. One of my favorite things to do each Christmas is for our family to visit the shop windows on the town square after dark...they're so pretty; filled with twinkling lights and Christmas cheer. What fun to see your town shops...and the butcher's window is taken right from A Christmas Carol!
