Moody Monday

The Mourne Mountains in County Down are popular for ramblers and hikers.  We set off to scale the heights of the third highest peak in the Mourne Range, Slieve Binnian.  Unfortunately the weather changes quickly and what began as moody skies over the mountains soon dropped down to zero visibility cloud cover just as we were nearing the top.  Here are some views of the Moody Mournes this Monday.

Below shows a section of the Mourne Wall, all hand built, more on that on Thursday.

  2. I chuckled at the title - all my Mondays are moody... But then, very few have such beautiful images to go with it! This looks like a place I would love to ramble or hike - but I'm not sure about the zero visibility. Thanks for sharing these stunning views!

  15. Love the shot with the sheep and the wall. I couldn't wait, and looked it up on wikipedia. I see the sheep had a lot to do with it...
