Al Fresco Dining!

In the Middle of Belfast,  on Donegal Pass, I came across this interesting fun community garden project.  The name makes me smile!

The fruit and vegetables grown there are sold by volunteers on the site and they also offer tea and coffee with tomato sandwiches and the liken for hungry passers-by.  The nice lady I spoke to also gave me a little bit of the history of the area.

A bright spot in the middle of the city.

  3. That brought back a childhood memory. My sisters and I would eat tomato sandwiches all summer long. The tomatoes had such a rich flavor that all we needed was bread, butter, sliced tomatoes and a little salt and pepper. Yum!
