Slemish Views

Climbing Slemish - looking towards the rocky hill

There is a rutted track here and there, used by sheep , but for the most part, the sides of Slemish are easily climbed in several different directions.

We paused to enjoy the views - see the stone square sheep fold below

Nearing the top after a steady half hour climb and County Antrim spreads out around

There were quite a few other hikers
Below - looking towards Broughshane and Ballymena

Beautiful green patchwork

Thanks for coming back today and hope you enjoyed the views!

  23. Lovely to have a place with rolling hills that you can climb and enjoy the view -- the hills are beautiful and it does look as if the climb wouldn't be too terribly strenuous. What a gift!
