Old and New Fences at Slemish

It's time for Good Fences, and this is the new sheep fencing on the lower slopes of Slemish, which I've been showing this week.

Below, the old traditional 'fence' the dry stone wall. It is a professional labour of love to construct.

The sky was beautiful silhouetting the wall and I loved seeing the gaps in the stones

The view upwards to Slemish mountain

Playing about and peeking through the gaps to see the sheep - fence post and stone!

Thanks for your visit!
