Railroad Museum Ellicott City

We arrived in elliott City around dusk so the railroad museum was closed.

However you could still walk along the street beside the station and see this old carriage

In need of some repairs though.

  4. Those cabooses are a thing of the past. They used to serve as a office, breakroom and bunk house.

  7. Hello, great photos from the museum. I have been there to see the train display inside, during the Christmas season it is neat to see the train gardens. Happy Tuesday, have a great day and week ahead!!

  11. Great looking B&O caboose. I got to ride in one at Prairie Village during Railroad Days in Madison, SD. We did a 2.5 mile loop, which was enough for me.

  14. As a boy, I remember seeing B & O railcars and waiting to see the caboose. The caboose can only be found in museums today, now that's progress! Thanks Christine for sharing this week, I invite you to return again.
