Skies, Critters and Parsley!



Better late than never, some photos of my walk today, after a bout of illness this week.

Cow parsley lines the lane

Cows and their calves enjoy fresh green grass after long winter months indoors.

  30. Hello Christine, how serendipitous! Today we were driving by the farms, ans so many had a calf - really heartwarming to see!

  31. Our cows are the same. They stay in the barns all winter. I feel sorry for them, but I guess it's better than being out in the rain and cold most of the time. - Margy

  35. Hi Christine, Thank goodness your bout with illness is over and you were able to get out for a walk, take some excellent photos, and share them with us. I enjoyed all your photos in this post and especially so the last two ... the macros. The next to last is just great! The colors you captured in the drops is so cool. Thank you for sharing and thank you for your kind comments on my blog. By the way, I was surprised to hear you mention family over here in the Okanagan Valley. I have to wonder how they got away from the beauty of Northern Ireland? OR, are you the lucky one getting away to Northern Ireland? :-)

  37. I'm glad you're feeling better. I love the cows with their cute calves. We have cattle on two nature reserves over the summer and I went to see them yesterday. Enjoy your Sunday!
