My home, sweet home, fences

This is my favourite countryside walk, right on my doorstep and in spring it has a charm all of its own.  So today I thought I'd share some homely fences with you today of the common rustic variety.

At the end of the lane there used to be an old farm dwelling and this is the remains of their gateway.

Over the fields we go - the field on the right will be cut for silage in a few weeks.

Across the field we come to a stile which leads to the riverbank

Time to sit and listen to the gurgles of the river and admire its incessantly changing beauty...

Glad you could join me today!
