Five on Friday

The bluebell season is so short, I had to post a few more of my favourite images of them.

The true English bluebell has a drooping head in when full flower with all the flowers on one side of the stem and they also have a very distinctive sweet scent.

Whilst on my bluebell walk I came across this wood nymph in the clearing.  I thought it was sweet that some little girl had made her a crown of dandelions!

Love the colours in this gorgeous sunset

  29. All so beautiful Christine!
I love bluebells but they don't grow as well in our temperate climate - its very touch and go.
Sunsets get me every time too - I have more sky photos on my computer than anything else!
