This is the very ornate, very green wrought iron railings in front of Dromore's Roman Catholic chapel.
So much detail in the railings to see. I'm glad I don't have to paint them! Someone does do a good job of keeping them smart.
The manufacturers, G. Webb & Son, made sure to include their details!

Fable has it that if a couple meet and kiss at this gate, they will marry within the year.
Not surprising then, that many couples come here to have engagement and wedding photos taken at the gate!

Meet Elvis, an engineered, nuts and bolts treasure from Tannaghmore Gardens, Craigavon. He was donated to the Gardens by Molloy Engineering and I think you'll agree he is a fine dog.
I especially like his ribcage and spine...
...and the texture of his back paw!
Sharing today with Tom's Tuesday's Treasure HERE where you can see lots more treasure!

This is the former mill at Hilden, site of the former Barbour Threads empire. To say this place fascinates me is an understatement. The site is huge and comprises several more large factories, some badly fire damaged, all derelict and disintegrating.
The factories here were built about 1823 and by the 1890's were considered to be the largest linen-thread manufacturing site in the world.
My FIL was a foreman at the mill many decades ago.
Below is the former mill workers entrance
I thought these monotoned edits added a particularly nostalgic feel.
Many thanks for your visit.

A few shots from my walk at Craigavon lake on Thursday.
I managed to clamber over some swampy reeds etc and crouch in them to watch the swans feed.

|Hello Selfie with filter|
I made the most of the good weather yesterday and went walking somewhere new and I just bring my phone and use the camera on it so I can walk more freely.
I walked around the lake at Craigavon and will have to go biking there too.

In nearby Tannaghmore Gardens there are nicely laid out gardens and fun sculptures around every corner - I can sympathise with this stressed out mum!

I had to stop to greet these friendly little Shetland ponies, who just loved the attention!
Doesn't this one have a pretty 'glam' hairdo!
Hope you enjoyed meeting my new friends behind their rusty fence!

This is the beautiful red brick Victorian mansion which sits in the middle of Belfast's Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. Sadly no one seems prepared to use it these days and so it sits empty and quietly crumbling away.
The house was originally built by linen merchants, the Bristow family, hence the initials JB in this ornate emblem by the door.
The gardens are very pleasant and each year there is an international rose show.
A treasure in the city.
