Good Fences and Skies

Taken last Saturday when I thought we were in for a big snowfall.  There was about 3 inches in all but the sun came out and immediately thawed the snow.  This is part of my garden fence wrapped around the front.

A close up of the melting snow on top of the fence post

This is the view across the valley later in the day when we went to check on the pony and donkey.

The skies were very dramatic  and there is a fence along the bottom left!

Glad to be linking once again with Tex and Good Fences

and also Skywatch Friday

Many thanks for stopping by!

  2. Great photos Christine, and such a lovely pony with the prettiest eyes. Pretty scenery and loved the curve of the fencing and the one of the melting snow. We had over two feet of snow with more in the drifts. Unusual for us but it is almost gone now and with today well above freezing, that should take care of the rest of it.
