Saturday Critters

Today's post for Saturday's Critters with Eileen - when I saw Google's page today marking the 41st anniversary of the Mountain of Butterflies discovery in Mexico by Ken Brugger and Catalina Trail, I had to dig out a couple of butterfly shots I've had on file for months.

This is one of Northern Ireland's common butterflies, the  small tortoiseshell butterfly. It is beautifully coloured

Here's a different butterfly with wings closed - I think its a meadow brown butterfly

Please check out more Saturday Critters at Viewingnaturewitheileen.blogspot.com

Thanks Eileen for hosting!

Enjoy your weekend!
