More colour, please!



With the persistent grey clouds in my neck of the woods, I thought to cheer things up a bit with some brightly coloured doors in the local village, which has quite a few Georgian homes and several quaint cottages.  I loved the bright individual styles and colours these homeowners have used to paint their front doors!




I think this one is my favourite though, because of the huge fanlight and gorgeous deep purple.




It's so nice to spot a vintage red telephone box still in use in the village - another cheery dab of colour!

These have become quite the collectors' item as most were replaced about 30 years ago

and finally a hint of colour when I spied a rainbow between the showers

    i adore those doors. i want to paint mine yellow and the hubs said "no way". he does't get color!!!!
