Big Fish - Donegal Quay Pt 4

Continuing my tour around Belfast docks today with a prize catch at Donegal Quay: the Big Fish.

It is a 32ft sculpture of a salmon by John Kindness made in 1999 to celebrate the regeneration of the quayside and is covered in a mosaic of ceramic tiles for scales, commemorating Belfast's history and growth.

Just some of the tiles. I love the blue and white.

Hope you enjoyed and I'll be back with more treasures tomorrow from our tour.
