Victorian Viaduct

Views of a Victorian Viaduct in Dromore Co. Down taken last week in the late afternoon, the light was fading fast but the stone work looks almost purplish in the setting sun.

The viaduct was constructed to carry the railroad over the river Lagan from Belfast to Dublin.

It stands 74ft tall.

  8. I've never seen a viaduct, so it's hard for me to imagine the size of them or the distance they span. Thank you for sharing these at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/11/chicago.html. They're great shots!
