Away with the Fairies for Good Fences

A few weeks back we took the scenic drive around an area known as The Ring of Gullion near Newry, South Armagh. We stopped to walk around the Fairy Glen which is really for young children but we're all big kids at heart and enjoyed how its done.  This is the magical door or gateway into the Fairy Glen.

I really like the woven hazel branch archway - very Celtic!

Some cute wee fences around the fairy homes!

Then we made the drive around the mountain of Slieve Gullion for the spectacular views and were not disappointed.

Famous Emerald Isle green fields in a patchwork below.

Breathe in the invigorating fresh air! It was really quite windy so we didn't stay out too long!

The sheep pens on the hillside...

These two were escapees we came across further along!

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for visiting and please leave a comment to let me know you've been!

Glad to be linking with Good Fences and Skywatch Friday.

Many thanks to our hosts!

Have a great day!
